5Peaks Circuit in Hermanus

Welcome to the fourth day of the 5Day Hovering Hermanus adventure: the 5Peaks Circuit, featuring a 16km trail with a 930m elevation gain.

The 5Peaks Circuit takes you through vineyards, orchards, and fynbos, offering breathtaking views of the valley and Hermanus town.

Meet us at Hemel en Aarde Village at 6:45 AM. The hike will commence at 7:00 AM.

We eagerly anticipate your participation.

Compulsory Items:

Emergency kit:

• Space blanket
• Whistle
• Cohesive bandage
• Small petroleum jelly
• Wet wipes
• Rennies
• Plasters
• Sunscreen
• Electrolytes

Additionally, ensure you have a suitable lightweight hydration or backpack, sunscreen, a hat, proper trail shoes, snacks, and sufficient water. Depending on the weather, a lightweight windproof jacket or fleece, beanie, and gloves are recommended. A waterproof jacket could also be useful. Always dress in layers.

Optional Items:

Consider bringing fingerless gloves, hiking poles, buffs, and coffee.
