The Open is an 5-6 km (+/-) cross country style “obstacle fun run” with approximately 20 obstacles selected from the standard courses. This event is for people to experience World Championship obstacles and requires no qualification or national federation affiliation. Complete the obstacles you want!

The Open is not subject to  competition rules.

Be Active OCR is an ideal opportunity for groups or companies to socialise and have fun in a safe yet challenging environment by overcoming obstacles, running, laughing and playing in the mud. Obstacle Course Racing is for everyone, this event will challenge your friends, colleagues, employees or teammates to work together and play together in a fun way! Get out of the office, out of your comfort zone and out of the rat race and come enjoy the Obstacles with us

KIDS

Ages 6 and up are welcome (under 11's to be accompanied by parents/adult please)

Kids: See Open Category They’ll run, jump and crush their way through obstacles, just like the adults.

WHAT TO BRING

Towel & extra (dry) clothes - you will need it
Cash (It will make paying for food/drinks/etc. much easier.)What not to bring:
Outside food and drink (racers, fuel for the race is OK)
Pets (without ID ;)) it is a pet friendly trail though!

Negative Attitude

WHAT TO WEAR

Dress in performance gear (not cotton). Think compression bottoms and breathable tops made from water wicking material. Wear comfortable shoes that you’ve trained in, but beware, they are going to get dirty. Contact our Race partner for custom made race apparel @sweatgearofficial

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT

Arrive an hour before your start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, pick up your race number, and get warmed up.

Registration opens at 6:00 am

• 5km Trail run 7:00 am
• 5km OCR starts at 7:00 am
• 2km KIDS Obstacle Race 9:00 am  (under 11 – 2km)
