Bergplaas Challenge 2026

EVENT POSTPONED TO 28 November 2026

Due to the Foot and Mouth outbreak affecting the Eden/Garden Route, with the first case confirmed in Mossel Bay, the Bergplaas Challenge has been postponed. Farmers and committees are actively working to contain the disease, and one key measure is limiting non-essential vehicle movement, including bicycles, in farming areas. As Libertas Farm, our venue, is a dairy farm, the event is now rescheduled to 28 November 2026. All current entries will be carried over to the new date. If you prefer a refund, please email support@entryninja.com to initiate the process.

The 5th edition of the Bergplaas MTB and Trail Run Challenge is set for Saturday, 28 November 2026, at Libertas Guest Farm, Hoekwil.

This is a CSA sanctioned event, requiring riders to have a current CSA Membership or License. If you do not have one, a Temp Day License must be purchased.

Entry Fee

• 7km Trail Run: R150.00
• 10km Trail Run: R200.00
• 15km MTB: R170.00
• 28km MTB: R250.00
• 40km MTB: R350.00
• 70km MTB: R450.00

Bike Service Station / Bike Wash

Cycle Worx Sedgefield will provide a bike service station and wash after the race. All proceeds will benefit a local charity. The cost is R30 per bike wash, with the option to donate more. Please support this initiative!
