The De Bos Dam 17km Circuit features a 270m elevation and is expected to take 5 hours. This trail offers a scenic journey past vineyards, orchards, and fynbos, with breathtaking views of the valley and town.

6:45 AM: Gather at Hemel en Aarde Village

7:00 AM: The hike begins

• Space blanket
• Whistle
• Cohesive bandage
• Small petroleum jelly
• Wet wipes
• Rennies
• Plasters
• Sunscreen
• Electrolytes

Ensure you have a suitable lightweight hydration or backpack, sunscreen, hat, proper trail shoes, snacks, and enough water. Depending on the weather, a lightweight windproof jacket or fleece, beanie, and gloves are recommended. A waterproof jacket might also be useful. Always dress in layers.
