TERRAIN:

On the slopes of the Simonsberg, areas of vineyards are interspersed with areas of steep forest as well as thick fynbos.  A network of farm roads, tracks and paths cover the area.

COURSES:

• Technical - Long:  (6km, 300m climb)  Technically difficult and physically demanding course.
• Technical - Short:  (4km, 200m climb)  Technically difficult but slightly less physically demanding.
• Trail - Long:  (5.8km, 250m climb)  Technically easier but physically demanding course. The runners course.
• Trail - Short:  (3km, 120m climb)  Technically easier and shorter.  Ideal for novice orienteers, children & families.
