Elandskloof Trout Run 2026

In a Valley of the Steenkampsberg mountain range near Dullstroom, the beautiful Elandskloof Trout Farm just outside Dullstroom, offers stunning trail running in pristine nature. 

Crystal clear streams, waterfall, trout dams, spectacular views and lovely trails will give trail runners a true trail running experience.

Cut off will be at 11pm for all races/distances.  

Substitutions changes:

Substitutions and changes are allowed on race morning. 

Food and drinks @ Elandskloof Restaurant:

FRIDAY NIGHT:  Restaurant& Bar available, 17h00 -20h00.

SATURDAY: The venue offer free coffee, tea and rusks before the race start and cooldrinks, beer, take-aways from 07h00 - 12h00.

Waterpoints:

21km  - 4 x Water points (water, soft drinks and light snacks)

15km - 3 x Water points  (water, soft drinks and light snacks)

10km - 2 x Water points (water, soft drinks and light snacks)

6km - 1 x Water point (water, soft drinks and light snacks)

There will be a hydration zone for all at the finish.

Prize-giving:

PRIZE GIVING @ 10 am for everyone.

Cash Prizes to Winners – 1st, 2nd & 3rd - Male / Female of each distance

Medals:

Each finisher will receive a medal.

**** IMPORTANT PET FRIENDLY ARRANGEMENTS AND RULES ****

Very strict rules will be applied during the weekend, as all dogs will have to be kept on leash at all times due to the other animals roaming around on the venue.

Non-adherence to this rule will be subjected to a R500 fine and you might be requested to leave the establishment without any refunds.

PET FRIENDLY RULES: 

• Dogs are welcome on the 6km and 10km route.  
• Please note that it is STRICTLY ON LEASH, due to all the other animals roaming free on the farm.
• Only dogs taking part in the trail run may be brought to the venue.
• There won't be people available to look after your dog while you are out on the trails.

ACCOMMODATION & CAMPING available a the starting/finishing point:

Entry fee does not include accommodation.
