Revolution Trails Events

Even though the venue has closed down, we have been given the privilege to still make use of the trails until the new owners take ownership of the farm.

We will be hosting races at this venue until it is no longer possible. We have therefore updated the routes and included a 21km route as well.

So make sure to join us at this exciting limited edition races at the previous Grootfontein Bike Park.

We have made some updates to the routes after our first edition of the new trail launch, so come and check it out!

DISTANCE & ENTRY FEE:

Pre Entries:

Online Entry Fee: 2KM (R80) | 5KM (R110) | 10KM (R130) | 15km (R150) | 21km (R170)

On-The-Day Entry: An additional amount of R30 will be added

Kids Under 13Yrs & Adults Over 60Yrs: Only pay R80 (no additional charge for on-the-day entry)

VENUE:

Grootfontein Bike Park, Garstfontein Road, Grootfontein, Pretoria East

Please note, once you have turn off Garstfontein road towards the venue, it is a 2km dirt road to follow to the entry point.

The dirt road can be travelled by a normal car as it is not ruff.

Amenities Available At The Venue:
Snacks and drinks will be on sale.

Start Time:
Registration opens at 06h00
Race start for all distances: @ 06h30
You can still register and start anytime between: 06h30 - 08h00

For long distance e.g. 15km and 21km the latest time allowed to start is 7am. Only 10km, 5km and 2km will be allowed to start after 7am. And all distances needs to be finished by 10am.

Entry Includes: Marked Route | Water Tables | Finisher Medal | Venue Entry | Parking | Vitality Points

MAKE A DIFFERENCE CAMPAIGN:

You now have the option of taking your medal at the end of the race or to donate the cost of the medal to the Make a Difference Campaign by placing your medal in the campaign box. You can also add any additional donation you want to make to the campaign in the box. The cost of these donated medals and any additional donations received will then be put towards the Make a Difference Campaign fund raiser.

At the end of the year, the total amount saved will be donated to a worthy animal shelter to help make a difference in the lives of these special pets.

• There will be No Refunds due to rain, lightning or venue rain damage cancellation.

• There will be No Transfer of online entries due to not pitching up for a race.
• No license is necessary to take part in run/walk.
• Cash, Card and Snapscan accepted on the day.
• All ages welcome.
