Horison Challenge Trail Run Sat 7 Nov 2026 @ Stellenbosch, Western Cape

Serious and casual trail runners can take part in this Trail Run, offering distances of 3km, 5km and 10km. The race will be timed.

The race start and finish will be at the Huis Horison Kermis which is a fabulous outing for the whole family and takes place at Huis Horison in Onder Papegaaiberg, Stellenbosch. Come and join us at the end for a fantastic experience with over 30 stalls including food, pancakes, coffee or a cold beer, live music, kids' entertainment, handmade items, thrift, second hand books all going for a meaningful cause. 

Goody bags for the first 200 pre-entries, and medals for 10km finishers. 

NEW! PLEASE NOTE: This year, Horison Challenge Trail Run registrations and late entries will take place the evening before, on Friday 16:00 – 19:00 at the venue. 

There will be live music, food stall, beer and wine, so be sure to spend a bit of time and enjoy the vibe.   *NO LATE ENTRIES OR REGISTRATIONS SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE THE RACE*.
