WHAT YOU GET WITH YOUR ENTRY PACKAGE:
– Enjoy 4 nights of lodge accommodation with three meals provided each day.
– Participate in 3 days of riding.
– Your package includes the first night (Wednesday, 23rd September 2026) before the initial stage and the fourth night after the final stage (Saturday, 24th September 2026). Don't miss the legendary bonfire night and depart feeling refreshed after breakfast on Sunday morning.
– Tackle a challenging route with optional Strava segments. Timing is mandatory, and prizes are awarded at the organisers' discretion.
– Each day features 1 or 2 water points offering a variety of drinks, water, and an assortment of sweet and savoury snacks and fruit.
– Experience a world-class GPS mountain bike route.
– Benefit from 4x4 safety vehicles and professional medical support.
– Lesotho bike guides will lead three groups for slow, medium, and fast riders. If you manage to outpace the fastest Lesotho rider, a special award awaits you. Note: Basotho riders are known for their speed ;-)
– Attend a daily route briefing featuring photos from the day's ride.
– A professional photographer will capture your moments, and various formats of the media crew's work will be available after the race.
– Enjoy an unforgettable experience riding through villages eager for your arrival, along breathtaking roads, single tracks, and goat paths under the watchful eye of the Maluti Mountains.
– Mechanical support is provided by Lesotho Bike Hangar, including a daily wash and lube. Spare parts or major servicing will incur fair charges for labour and parts.
– Massage and physio services are available (30 to 60 minutes daily) at the rider's expense, with bookings subject to availability.
– Fantastic options for supporters and families include rock pools, waterfalls, shorter rides, pony treks, trail runs, and hikes, which can be booked separately upon request.
E-BIKE FRIENDLY
E-Bikes are welcome, but a full suspension is essential. Lesotho's trails are technically demanding, requiring comfort with steep and narrow single tracks. This event is not suitable for beginners. The longest stage is approximately 75km, and if you need an extra battery, you can provide it to the water point crew.
NOT INCLUDED
– Airport transfers to/from Maseru International Airport (MSU), Johannesburg O.R. Tambo (JNB), or Bloemfontein (BFN)
– Transfers to/from the event start for riders without their own vehicle
– Alcoholic beverages at the base camp
PARTIAL PAYMENTS
- Partial payments are accepted.
- Payments must be completed within 3 months of registration.
- The date of the final payment will determine the entry value.
- Only fully paid entries qualify for the return policy.
REFUNDS AND SUBSTITUTION POLICY
- Entries can be transferred to another rider at any time for a fee of R 500 per rider.
- If you cancel more than 3 months before the event, you will receive a 95% refund.
- Cancelling within 3 months but more than 1 month before the event incurs a 10% cancellation fee.
- Cancelling within 1 month before the event incurs a 15% cancellation fee.
- Entry fees cannot be carried forward to the following year.
