General Information

1. All athletes shall comply with World Athletics and Federation of Athletics Lesotho rules.
2. Athletes who register for 1.6km, 5km, 10km and 21.1km do not need to belong to a club to participate. Athletes who register for 42.2km MUST belong to a running club to participate.
3. Race Officials and Marshals must be obeyed at all times.
4. All athletes shall run this race on their own risk. All athletes shall sign the indemnity form before running. In the event that indemnity is not signed, athlete is still liable for whatever happens.
5. Online entries available and will close on 31st January 2027. 
6. Entry fee: 
   1.  Registration package includes: T – shirt, Goodie bag, Race bib, Race day insurance, Bottle and Finisher’s medal. 

7. Minimum age: 

42.2km - 20years 

21.1km, 10km – 18years

5km – 13years

1.6km – 6 years

8. Price Money:  Proof of age for price winners will be required. Age must be verified by authorized ID or Passport. Prices will be withheld until confirmed. Prize money will be paid to athletes electronically within 48hrs.

9. Entrants in all races must wear an official race number on the front of the vest.

10. Water points in every +/- 3km. Athletes shall get water at water points and finish only. Medical support will be available.

11. Official price giving will take place at 10:00hrs.

12. Protest shall be made before or within 30 minutes after results announcement accompanied by M200.00. Protest shall be made in writing by team leader, captain of the team or athlete.

13. Disciplinary action shall be taken to the team or athletes who misbehave in the race.

14. All fees are non-refundable unless the race is cancelled by the organizers.

15. There shall be no seconding. No athlete can run with another runner who has not registered for Maseru City Run or started the race at the start.

16. Entrants agree that photographs taken by the official race photographer on the event can be used for promotional purposes by the event and/ or event sponsor.
