PrisonBreak Triathlon 2026

Now in its fourth year after an impressive debut, we are thrilled to present the FLUIDLINES PrisonBreak Triathlon, officially endorsed by CTTA/TSA at the Brandvlei Maximum Security Prison.

Situated just outside the vibrant town of Worcester, surrounded by stunning mountains and a vast water expanse, this event is set to be the most exhilarating escape yet!

The FLUIDLINES PrisonBreak Triathlon offers four thrilling challenges: the Mini Escape, the Maxi Escape, the Aqua Bike Maxi, and the Gang Version (Teams). Participants will have the chance to test their skills and endurance in this distinctive triathlon.

The bike route is on a tar road and is suitable for Road, TT, or Mountain Bikes.

We are pleased to announce a prize pool valued at R32,000.00, with numerous prizes available across all age categories.

All participants will receive goody bags, swim caps, and a PRISONBREAK T-Shirt. Medals will be awarded to all finishers, so start planning your escape!

The Mini Escape (Sprint) is ideal for those seeking a challenging yet manageable race. It demands your full set of tools, escape gear, and GRIT.

For athletes looking to push their boundaries further, the Maxi Escape (Standard) offers a longer and more demanding course designed to truly test your physical capabilities.

For those who enjoy teamwork, the Gang Version allows teams to collaborate and strategize their way through the triathlon, fostering camaraderie and a shared sense of achievement.

Mini Escape: 750m Swim, 20km Bike, and 5km Run - R1000.00

Maxi Escape: 1500m Swim, 40km Bike, and 10km Run - R1200.00

Gang Version for either Mini or Maxi Escape (TSA DAY LICENSE INCLUDED IN PRICE) - R1420.00 / R1680.00

Aqua bike: 1500m Swim, 40km Bike - R1155.00

This is a Non-Drafting event  - TT bikes are allowed.

The minimum age for the Mini Escape is 16 years old by 31st December 2026.

The minimum age for the Maxi Escape is 18 years old by 31st December 2026.

The minimum age for the youngest member of the Mini Gang is 15 years old by 31st December 2026, the other 2 members must already be 16 years older.

The minimum age for the youngest member of the Maxi Gang is 17 years old by 31st December 2026, the other 2 members must already be 18 years or older.
