The 2027 Rallye Raid Hogsback remains in the picturesque mountains of Hogsback for the 10th year and counting! Along with that, the beautiful Arminel Lodge will once again be the HQ for 200 Adventure bikers

New trails can be expected for 2026 and Mike has some great plans to be back into the Amatola forests. Hogsback and its immediate surroundings of Katberg, Cathcart, Stutterheim, Thomas River all with their own signature tracks make this Adventure Bike heaven. 

Rallye Raid is based at Arminel Hotel and our Chill Zone next to the pool is the place to be after each day’s ride.

Entry into the Arminel Hotel is based on the order of entry and the overflow will go into hotels like Kings Hotel and May Lodge etc. Breakfast is served at your respective hotel and lunch is provided en route. Supper is altogether in the Arminel Dining Hall – great grub, live music, vibey bartenders (with great specials) & lucky draws.

We have 3 route brand-new route options.

RR1 is for the more experienced Adventure Biker, but totally suitable for the big twins with knobblies, whereas 

RR2 is for the less extreme rider with mostly escape options around the more technical RR1 sections. We then have the brand new 

RR3, which will feature 100% district roads and no single track, this is for the pillion rider who has little experience on off-road terrain.  You can mix ‘n match as you like as we ensure that the tracks overlap for lunch and through small towns.  Click here to view the routes.

The Arminel Hotel is the HQ for Rallye Raid Hogsback 2027

Located in Hogsback on the Eastern Cape of South Africa, this thatched-roof hotel offers rooms or self-catering cottages surrounded by native forests. Some accommodations feature a wooden deck overlooking the Amatola Mountains.

A swimming pool and tennis courts are available or walk through the hotel’s gardens with many bird species. There is also a games room with various board games.

Enter early to ensure you get placed into the Arminel Hotel. This is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Red Cherry Events reserves the right to place you at any one of the listed hotels without notice.
