Rooibos MTB by TIP TRANS is an exciting 1-day mountain biking event and returns to our rider’s favourite venue – DE TOL FARM DELI, which will host the Start & Finish venue.

The exciting addition to the 2026 event is that REGISTRATION on Friday 24 July 2026 will be hosted by the PIEKENIERSKLOOF MOUNTAIN RESORT.

Both venues are situated on the N7, Piekenierskloof Pass, Citrusdal.

The 2026 Rooibos MTB by TIP TRANS will host 4 challenging but rewarding route options – 125km, 80km, 55km and 30km.

Route Options

The 2025 event offers 4 thrilling route options:

• 125km: A registered Gravel Bike event (MTB and E-Bike riders welcome – see T&Cs).
• 80km: Designed for experienced and fit riders.
• 55km: Perfect for intermediate riders.
• 30km: A family-friendly option.

All routes are non-technical, featuring scenic paths over privately owned farms and district gravel roads. Suitable for mountain, gravel, and e-bikes.
