Ruitersberg Peak 1363m

Ruitersberg is a peak in the Outeniqua Mountains which forms part of a range that includes other peaks like Engelberg (1,521 m) and Saagtandberg (1,374 m).

Join us as we embark on this approximately 5km out&back route with 600m elevation, the beauty of the surrounds is absolutely excuisite. An experience you will not soon forget!

? Compulsary items: Emergency kit, suitable lightweight hydration-/backpack, sunscreen, hat, comfortable shoes, something to eat, enough water. Lightweight windproof jacket/fleece, beanie and gloves depending the weather. (We will aim to postpone the hike in the case of rain, but a waterproof jacket might be a handy kit item). Best to always dress in layers. Space blanket, emergency energy bar/trail food, bandage, small petroleum jelly comes in handy for chafing etc.

✨ Optional items:

Fingerless gloves, hiking poles, buffs, coffee.

♡ Meet at parking area, around 6:45. (A pin drop will be shared on the whatsapp group).

♡ Hike starts strictly at 7h00.
