We are proud to host this unique endurance challenge in the Garden Route!
Run The Farm is a 12-hour endurance race.

The race takes place at Herold Wines Farm, a stunning wine farm with Craddock Peak as the backdrop. One loop and twelve hours... Do you have what it takes to Run The Farm? This is a great event if you want to start running ultra distances.
Not an Ultra Athlete? We are also doing a fun run on the day.
Race Categories:
Option 1: Individual
Accumulate as many laps as possible in 12 hours. Perfect for endurance athletes chasing a 12-hour personal best. Set your goal. Manage your strategy. Test your limits.
Option 2: Team of 2
Accumulate as many laps as possible between the two athletes. You can alternate or run together; the winner is the team with the most laps done after the 12 hours. Perfect if you want to run with your partner or a friend.
Option 3: Team of 4
Accumulate as many laps as possible between your team members. You can alternate or run together; the winner is the team with the most laps done after the 12 hours. Perfect if you are a group of friends or a corporate team that want to come and have some fun.
Option 4: Fun Run/Walk
Saturday Morning 7:30AM - Come support the ultra-athletes and be part of the atmosphere!
Course
• Trail Run: 5km
Check-in, Briefing, Start & Prize Giving
Check-in will take place between 05H00 - 05H45.
Race Briefing will take place at 05H40 - 05H50.
The 12-hour challenge will start at 06H00.
Fun Run registration starts at 06H30
Fun Run briefing starts at 07H20
Fun Run starts at 07H30 (cut of time of 2 hours) Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
Prize giving and lucky draw at 18H10
Race Rules
• Competitors may not leave the course until the loop is complete
• No non-competitors allowed on course
(Fun Run/Ride participants may complete their one lap)
• Slower athletes/fun run athletes must allow faster competitors to pass
Timing
This event is not about lap times — it’s about the total laps you do
The objective is simple: Who can run the furthers in 12 hours.
Winner & Results
• The winner is the individual and team that completed the most laps in the 12 hours.
• Distances completed by each athlete will be tracked.
Runners will have access to:
- A designated start/finish area for refueling, hydrating, and resting between loops. (No water station on the route)
- A shared hangout area is available for participants and supporters.
- A community-driven atmosphere where every participant, whether first-time ultra-runner or seasoned athlete, is welcomed and supported.

Race Village
Participants are allowed to setup their gazebos and tents on the Friday before the race. Venues have toilet facility no showers, but there is a natural pool to cool off in. Vendors will be available for supporters and participants to support.
Sports Massage Station
There will be a qualified sport massage therapist on the day. Pre-bookings are advised because there are only limited spots available, book directly through email farmfitevents@gmail.com
Event Merchandise
