SACS Junior School is excited to host the third Junior School Southern Suburbs School Mountain Bike League race of the year on Sunday 13 June 2026. Powered by RSAWEB. Boys and Girls are all welcome.  

All Funds raised from the event will go to SACS Junior School for the continued maintenance and expansion of the MTB track

Event Details

Location : Sacs Junior School Fields- Main sports fields

When : Sunday 13 June 2026, from 9am

Grades : 1 - 7

Age Groups : NB Age is based off the age of your child at the end of the year (i.e. the age your child turns on the 31 Dec 2026)

Race #1: 7 and under /Year of birth 2019 (Grade 1)

Race #2: 8 and under / Year of birth 2018 (Grade 2)

Race #3: Pre-prep 500m fun ride (balance bikes welcome). No entry fee or registration required  (Grade N-R)

Race #4: u9 and u10 / Year of birth 2017 and 2016  (Grade 3-4)

Race 5: u11, u12 and u13 / year of birth 2015, 2014 and 2013. (Grade 5-7)

Distances : 3-6km

Dress code : School colours

Cost : R100 per rider

Pre Prep Fun Ride

Age Groups : All under 6's (i.e. age on the 31 Dec 2026) e.g. Grade N & R

Distances : 500m ride around the field ( parents can accompany kids on foot)

Cost : No charge

This is not a timed event. Riders do not need a number board.

Race #1: Boys and Girls, u7 2x 1,5km lap of Short  Course 

Race #2: Boys and Girls u8, 2x 1,5km lap of Short Course

Race #3: Pre-prep 500m loop around field at venue

Race #4: Boys and Girls, Age 9 and 10. 2x 2km laps of Medium Course 

Race #5: Boys and Girls, Age 11-13. 3 x 2km laps of Medium Course
