Join us for a family day of running and celebrations. From Toddler Runs to a Half-Marathon or even just a coffee and pancake- EVERYONE is welcome!

Who can race?

·We extend our invitation to all those who love physical activities, and their families!

·We are excited to host a Toddler Run and involve even more family members this way.

·To enter in the 21.1km race, ensure participants are 16 years of age. 

·To enter in the 10km race, ensure participants are 14 years of age. 

General Information: 

·Race organisers reserve the right to accept or reject any entry.

·Distance markers, direction arrows, boards and road markings on the route.

·One leading vehicle or bike for the first athlete.

·Water tables approximately every 3km with refreshment handouts.

·Runners must observe all Health and Safety Regulations. 

·No earphones (except hearing aids), pets, prams, or any electronic devices are permitted.

·Parking is available, but at your OWN risk.

·Toilets are available.

·Gazebo area for clubs is available, but the tog bag facilities are unavailable.

·Medals at finish.

·No tog bag area.

·Medical services are available at the finish line and roaming the route.

Rules and Regulations:

·The race is held under the rules of ASA and AFS.

·Participants must be eligible according to the WA, ASA and AFS rules. 

·All athletes participate at their own risk.

·Athletes acknowledge that by entering the event, they are medically fit to participate.

·All athletes must supply their emergency contact’s name and contact number on the entry form.

·Participation age is 16 years or older for the 21.1km race and 14 years or older for the 10km race.

·Licensed athletes must wear club colours with the 2026 AFS licence number on the back and front of their running vest;otherwise, athletes will be disqualified.

·A temporary licence can be purchased for R50 for the 10km and 21.1km race.

·Temporary number to be worn at the back of gear. 

·A temporary number participant has no insurance coverage on the race day.

·No seconding is allowed; sufficient water points are provided.

·No blades, prams, cyclists or mechanically operated devices are allowed in the race.

·Wheelchair athletes will not be permitted to participate.

·No animals/pets are allowed to participate/accompany an athlete.

·No refunds will be given once an entry is purchased or if the race is cancelled due to reasons outside the organisers' control.

·Athletes may not run with another athlete's AFS licence number!

·Age category tags must be worn at the front and back to qualify as category winner. 

·No earphones (except hearing aids), or any electronic devices are permitted as they are in contravention of Rule T6.3.2 and will lead to disqualification.

·The race organiser retains the right to refuse entry and will disqualify persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol, who are disorderly, or who engage in inappropriate behaviour, vandalism or evade paying for admission (if applicable).

·Athletes who participate without buying a race entry will be disqualified, will not be entitled to any benefits associated with the race and will be liable for a double entry fee charge (if applicable).

·Habitual offenders will be subjected to AFS disciplinary steps.

·Athletics FS Green Race - littering is not allowed. Make use of the recycling bins available at the water points. Athletes can be disqualified if they litter.

·Cut-off time for the 10km and 21.1km is at 10:30. 

·No late starters (later than 5 minutes from the group start time) will be allowed.

·All marshals, traffic authorities and traffic rules must be obeyed — failing to do so may lead to disqualification.

·Check points on route. (Keep left at all times). In case of an emergency, report to the next water point.

·Proof of age must be provided on race day if required- ID or Birth Certificate, Driver’s License or Passport.

·All participants must adhere to the Health and Safety Regulations.

·Participants partake at own risk and need to be medically fit. 

·International athletes who partake must provide and hand in a clearance certificate from the National Federation and a copy of the participants passport to the Event Organiser before entering the event.
