Get ready, Durban — the TINMAN is back and it’s bringing the heat! South Africa’s longest-running triathlon series returns to the Golden Mile, where fitness meets fun and the ocean sets the stage for the ultimate multisport showdown. 

Whether you’re diving into your very first triathlon or chasing a new personal best, the TINMAN Durban is your chance to swim, bike, and run your way into glory — with the sound of cheering crowds and crashing waves to push you every step of the way. From the adrenaline-packed Sprint and Mini Tri to the longer Challenge distance, there’s a race for everyone — even kids can get in on the action with the TINMAN Dash! The vibe? Electric. The people? Unstoppable. The memories? Pure gold. So, rally your friends, polish that bike, and pack your sunscreen — because this isn’t just a race, it’s a lifestyle.

2026 EVENTES TO ENTER:

1. 10km Run (2 laps of 5km) 
2. Mini Tri (200m Swim / 6km Cycle / 2.5km Run) 8yrs old and up.
3. Super Sprint Tri (400m Swim / 12km Cycle / 2.5km Run) 12yrs old and up.
4. Sprint Tri & Relay Tri (750m Swim / 22km Cycle / 5km Run) 16yrs up - Cut off 2hrs 45.
5. Sprint Duathlon (5km Run / 22km Cycle / 2.5km Run) 16yrs up – 3hr cut off.
6. Challenge Tri & Relay Tri (1.2km Swim / 32km Cycle /10km Run) 18yrs up - Cut off 3hr50.

Registration Venue: Suncoast Sundeck, Durban. 

Registration on Sunday (Race Day) morning: 5:45am to 7am at Sundeck, Suncoast. 

START TIMES: To be confirmed on final race info. Final Race information will be sent out via email to all paid entrants on the Friday morning before each race weekend.

Triathlon Licences: All athletes must either have an annual TSA licence or purchase a Temporary TSA DAY Licence which will be valid for the event only.

We strongly recommend all athletes to buy an annual Triathlon SA licence from TSA. It is a lot cheaper and easier for each event. • RUNNING will be on the Durban Promenade towards South Beach and back.
