Race format

MTB Urban Cross Knock Out event with a compact circuit/track +- 1.7 km length.

Expected attendance – Main event 100 riders (Open category) – Fun ride 60 riders (All ages welcome)

+- 10 vs 10, depends on size of the field. Each Knock out round will be 1 lap.

Entry fees: Fun ride: R120.00 (All ages welcome)

Urban Cross Main Event: R200.00 (Open Category)

No Helmet, No Ride

08h00: Urban Cross Main Event (UCM) Round 1 - 100 riders 10 riders per heat = 10 heats, Top 5 go through (there might be 1 or 2 riders extra in some of the heats)

08h45: UCM Plate semi-final – bottom 5 riders take part - 50 riders – 5 heats, top 2 go through to plate final

09h30: UCM Semi-final - 50 riders - 5 heats, top 2 go through

10h15: Fun ride – 60 riders – top 20 go through to a Fun Final

11h00: Fun Final – 1st 2nd and 3rd prize

11h45: UCM Plate final – 10 riders – 1st 2nd and 3rd prize

12h30: UCM Final - 10 riders – 1st 2nd and 3rd prize

Event finishes at around 13h30
