About this race
Entry Fee:
- For the 60km + Ebike, the standard fee is R300. If you register in March, the Early Bird price is R225, and in February, it's R180. The race begins at 08:00, covering approximately 62.8km.
- The 40km + Ebike costs R230 normally. The Early Bird rate is R175 in March and R140 in February. This race starts at 08:30 and spans about 41.6km.
- The 20km event is priced at R180. Early Bird registration in March is R135, and in February, it's R110. The start time is 08:45, with a distance of roughly 21.6km.
- For the 10km race, the entry fee is R150. The Early Bird price is R115 in March and R90 in February. It begins at 09:00 and covers approximately 11km.
Entry Fee for Scholars:
- The 60km + Ebike is R180, starting at 08:00, with a distance of 62.8km.
- The 40km + Ebike costs R140, starting at 08:30, covering 41.6km.
- The 20km race is R110, starting at 08:45, with a distance of 21.6km.
- The 10km event is R90, starting at 09:00, covering 11km.
Water Stations:
Water stations are available on the 20km route, which is also accessible to other routes, and at the Finish Line. The 10km route has a waterpoint only at the finish line.
Times:
The venue opens at 07:00 for registrations. The 60km race starts promptly at 08:00, followed by the 40km at 08:30, the 20km at 08:45, and the 10km at 09:00.
Number Collection:
Number collection is on Sunday, 21 June 2026, from 7am at Prime View. Entries on the day are available for an additional R50. Please note that number collection closes 30 minutes before your race begins.
Your entry will include the following:
- Ample parking;
- Access to a restaurant and coffee shop;
- E-Bike options for the 60km and 40km races;
- BoutTime will provide instant results on your phone and their website under “Results” in the top menu as you finish;
- A Finisher's Medal;
- Well-stocked water and nutrition points.
Timing:
Permanent BoutTime race boards are available for R100 each, offering several benefits:
- Online entry and payment;
- Direct access from your car to the start line at any MTB event listed on the BoutTime Website;
- No need for registration and queuing once you have your permanent race board.
Alternatively, you can rent a temporary race board for R30, which must be returned to BoutTime after you finish.
Prize Giving:
- Podium winners must be present at the prize giving to receive their prizes, which will not be distributed early.
- Ensure your podium position is correct on the BoutTime website under “Results” before the prize giving.
- If there is an issue with your podium result, address it with the BoutTime timing team at the finish line before the prize giving. Additional prizes will not be awarded afterward.
- Prize giving is expected to occur between 11am and 12pm, once the third-place podium finishers in the 60km race have completed. The exact time will be announced by the MC.
- The prize giving will be held at the Prime View restaurant area. You are welcome to enjoy breakfast and coffee after your ride while waiting for the prize giving to commence.
