Adding Distances

Every event must have at least one distance/category:

Pricing Strategy

Competitive Pricing

Consider these factors when setting prices:

• Distance: Longer distances typically cost more
• Location: Urban vs. rural, accessibility
• Included Items: Medals, refreshments, timing chips
• Market Rate: Check similar events in your area
• Your Costs: Ensure you cover expenses and make profit

Multiple Distance Pricing

When offering multiple distances:

• Price should scale with difficulty/distance
• Consider family/group discounts for shorter distances
• Premium pricing for elite/championship categories

Age & Entry Restrictions

Minimum Age

Set minimum age requirements for safety:

• Enforced automatically during registration
• System calculates age from date of birth
• Clear error messages for underage registrants

Entry Limits

Cap the number of participants:

• Set a maximum number of entries
• Registration automatically closes when limit is reached
• Shows "Sold Out" badge on event listing
• You can increase the limit later if needed

Special Pricing Options

Free for Seniors (65+)

Toggle this option to:

• Waive registration fees for participants 65 and older
• Age calculated from ID/passport number
• Shows "Free for Seniors" badge

Free for Disability

Toggle this option to:

• Waive fees for participants with disabilities
• Participants self-declare during registration
• Promotes inclusivity

Adding Multiple Distances

Add as many distances as needed:

1. Click "Add Another Distance"
2. Fill in the new distance details
3. Save the distance
4. Repeat as needed

Each distance appears as a separate option during registration, with its own pricing and capacity tracking.
