Adding Items

To add merchandise to your event:

  1. Go to your event (draft or edit mode)
  2. Scroll to Merchandise section
  3. Click "Add Merchandise Item"
  4. Fill in item details
  5. Click "Save"

Item Details

Required Fields

Field Description
Item Name Clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Event T-Shirt")
Description Details about material, fit, features
Price Cost per item in Rands
Base Stock Total quantity available (if no variations)

Optional Fields

  • Image: Product photo (highly recommended - increases sales by 3x!)
  • Category: Group similar items (Apparel, Accessories, etc.)

💡 Pro Tip: Include size chart, material details, and care instructions in the description.

Pricing Strategy

When pricing merchandise:

  • Cover your costs (item + printing/branding + shipping)
  • Add profit margin (20-40% is standard)
  • Consider bulk pricing from supplier
  • Platform commission applies to merchandise sales
